Grand Teton National Park

By Aug 12th 2010 No Comments »

Grand Teton National Park… Grand it is! And also my new favorite place.  A serene atmosphere with lots of activities to choose from with the added benefit of the majestic Tetons as your backdrop.

As soon as we entered the park, I knew I was at a new second home.

A big appreciative I have for the park is the road system.  This may seem like a strange and bizarre factor to be grateful for. But, I am not the most directional savvy, so this was a huge plus. Having the roads clearly marked and even having notifications of when pull offs were approaching, was extremely helpful and mind easing.  The park also has the added comfort of grocery stores and gas stations inside the park.  Another added benefit for the gals on the go.

Aside from the road layout the recreational layout was second to none. Vivid and defined bike paths abutting the streets are more than inviting. Rock climbing, hiking, boating and kayaking were all widespread in the park.  Any activity you choose to engage in will be memorable with the Teton Mountains as your backdrop! Picnic spots, beach spots, get away spots., this park has whatever spot you are looking for.

I loved this park in the summer and can’t wait to experience it in the winter.  I know this is a place I will be coming back to for years to come. A park I look forward to bringing my friends and family to.
